Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Pickle Dog Design was founded by Amy Bartkus. With a strong passion for crafting and designing, Amy used those interests to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts and Graphic Design. Since 2003, Amy has been an in-house graphic designer at several companies and non-profit organizations. Amy is more than excited to fulfill her dream of starting Pickle Dog Design and opening her own shop of eclectic handmade goods.

WHY THE NAME?
Amy loves dogs as much as she loves design. She also is extremely fond of pickles. So much so, that she named her miniature dachshund, Gedney, after the Minnesota pickle. It only made sense for Amy to name her design business after Gedney, her loyal little pickle dog and business lap companion.
